Model Blac Chyna has gotten creative in finding ways to make money during the lockdown.
The entrepreneur — known for her modeling, makeup line, and multiple appearances on “Keeping Up with The Kardashians” — made headlines earlier this month after she began offering fans a chance to chat with her on FaceTime for a hefty fee of $950 a call.
Chyna announced her OnlyFans page in April by posting a preview of a foot fetish video on her Instagram that features a close up on her foot stomping on a bowl of grapes.
How it works
OnlyFans is best known for NSFW content that is too risqué for Instagram and YouTube, but what many don’t know is that the site features a variety of content creators, from musicians to fitness experts, chefs and now major celebrities.
Stars and influencers alike have started testing out OnlyFans to post unfiltered photos and videos to their fans as the demand for content increases during the coronavirus pandemic
“Beyoncé, and any artist, are welcome to join OnlyFans at any time to foster a deeper connection with their fans,” the platform told the Rolling Stone in April.
Creators are able to set their monthly subscription price, according to OnlyFans. Cardi charges fans $4.99 a month, for example, while Thorne set her subscription at $20 per month. Creators can even offer subscription bundles: Thorne offers a 6-month membership for $102.
Cardi joined OnlyFans in August, promising to share behind-the-scenes footage from the music video for “WAP,” the rapper’s new explicit song with Megan Thee Stallion that focuses on sexual female empowerment.
The “WAP” music video amassed over 117 million views on YouTube in one week, but fans weren’t able to see Cardi’s full artistic vision because the song was censored. Ahead of the release, Cardi said: “The music video is going to be the censored version of the song because the song is so nasty that YouTube said, ‘Hold on, wait a minute.'”
But that won’t be an issue on OnlyFans, which is essentially restriction-free.
The “Money” rapper said her OnlyFans account will focus on content from her everyday life, including behind-the-scenes footage and rumor debunking. However, the star made it clear that she wouldn’t engage in any nudity.
Thorne joined in soon after, announcing on Instagram Wednesday that she’s joining OnlyFans by way of a steamy video in which she’s dressed in a bikini and a diamond necklace spelling “sex.” Although she remained mum on what kind of content people can expect, Thorne said she’s excited to “talk about the politics behind female body shaming & sex.”
The former child star, who shot to fame on the Disney Channel series “Shake It Up,” made her directorial debut on the X-rated film “Her & Him.” In October, she partnered with Pornhub to enhance the website’s overall safety.
Other famous faces are following suit.
“Real Housewives of New York” stars Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan, model Blac Chyna and “Love & Hip Hop” stars Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena all promote their OnlyFans accounts across social media.
Who Owns OnlyFans?
Can OnlyFans Be Anonymous?
If you don’t have a stage name, some OnlyFans name ideas can come to mind out of the blue (or based on comments left by followers on other social media platforms). One tip to keep in mind is that your stage name should be as far away from your real name as possible.
Why is OnlyFans declining my card?
Also, check to see if your card is up to date. You may need to update the card should it be close to the expiration date (at this point, you should receive a new card from your bank).
